MIAMI – May 17, 2005 – Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is proud to announce that former United States Senator Bob Graham will be featured as a guest speaker aboard Norwegian Sun for a seven-day cruise roundtrip from Vancouver to Alaska, departing on July 31, 2005. In his lectures, Senator Graham will share recollections from his almost 40 years in public life serving as a Florida Legislator, Governor, United States Senator and recent Presidential candidate. His wife, Adele, who will also serve as a guest lecturer, will join Graham on the cruise.

“We are honored that such a respected, historic figure as Senator Graham has chosen NCL as an ideal forum to share his insight and knowledge,” said Colin Veitch, president and CEO of NCL. “In addition to entertaining our guests, NCL has always been committed to providing riveting, thought-provoking educational opportunities for guests. By bringing cultural experiences such as distinguished guest lecturers to our passengers, we hope that they leave with more than they came.”

Senator Graham will speak on the topic “Intelligence Matters,” which is also the name of his critically acclaimed new book he will sign on board. Senator Graham, who will become a Senior Fellow at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government this fall, will also address America’s challenges today when he speaks on “Public Service Memoirs and The Challenges Facing America.”

Joining Senator Graham will be his wife, Florida’s former First Lady Adele Graham, who will speak on “Reflections on life in the Governor’s Mansion and in Washington, DC.” She will discuss the public and private challenges she faced in Tallahassee and Washington, DC and the excitement of being at the center of it all for three decades.

The Grahams are also pleased that the families of their four daughters, including eleven grandchildren, will join them on the cruise.

The stunning Norwegian Sun will depart Vancouver on July 31, sailing to such popular Alaskan ports of call as Ketchikan, Wrangell, Juneau and Skagway. This itinerary allows guests the chance to explore the tidewater glaciers of Sawyer Glacier and the awe-inspiring Inside Passage.
