Jason
Maui Divers Jewelry, Hawaii's largest jewelry retailer and manufacturer, will open its 49th and 50th stores this weekend. But you can't drive to them. The two outlets, Galleria Fine Jewelry and Ocean Treasures, are scheduled to begin operation on July 10 aboard the Pride of Aloha, the Norwegian Cruise Line ship that cruises the Hawaiian Islands exclusively. Galleria will feature the Maui Divers Jewelry collection of Tahitian black pearls, South Sea pearls, Japanese akoya pearls and diamonds and colored gemstones. Ocean Treasures will offer handcrafted designs in coral and freshwater pearls, as well as gold charms and pendants themed around Hawaiian and Pacific Ocean marine life. "Maui Divers Jewelry is proud to partner with NCL on its concession operations," said Maui Divers President Bob Taylor. "Cruise ship passengers are already a substantial part of our business, and this offers a great fit as we continue to grow our retail operations." Maui Divers, which also operates under the names Island Pearls and Pick-A-Pearl, has stores throughout Hawaii and in Las Vegas, Orlando, San Diego and Orange County.
