Quick Question

I'm trying to settle in on some shore excursions in Cayman. I know for sure the Stingray City tour. I was also wondering, how easy or difficult is it to drive in Cayman? The island isn't big, and I'd like to go at my own pace and see what I want to see. Thanks!

They do drive on the opposite side as us. We were there in Jan and with 6 cruise ships in port the traffic was barely moving. Most likely away from town the traffic would be lighter.

Thanks! How crowded was the island with 6 ships in port? We will have 6 ships as well.

Sorry, can't help you with that. We just got off the ship and walked around and did a little shopping. The shops were very crowded.

To be quite honest, Grand Cayman really isn't a port to rent a car and drive around. The Island is a flat, coral island, with no topography to speak of, and there aren't many places to go. The Turtle Farm is OK, Hell is a big nothing and many islands boast much nicer beaches than Seven Mile Beach, in reality a little over 5 miles long. The island is known for its reef, and diving. The Atlantis submarine is a little pricey, but the best thing to do on the island, if you don't dive.
