Tour of the Ship

They usually have a very good background tour on the ship's TV channels, played at various times throughout the cruise. For safety and security, they don't do the bridge and engine room tours anymore.

Hi Rick,

Some ships do have a tour of the public areas of the ship . These take place usually within 24 hours of embarkation. Check your daily cabin bulletin to see if the Ryndam offers this. I know Carnival and Princess do this in order to familiarise you with the ships' layout.

I found a daily schedule for a couple of other HAL ships and noted that they do tours on their ships before sailaway. Check your schedule as soon as you get to your cabin, and I'll bet there is a tour. Usually, there are several crew members that take smaller groups on the tour. Enjoy.
