Travel Insurance docs ???

I just found our travel insurance documents in my e-mail. Never had them come that way before and we booked it through our TA not online. That's ok - but now we have to print out 18 pages and carry it with us. Seems a bit much in the paperwork department :o)

Your right it does soound like a lot of paperwork to carry with you. The Insurance companies are now charging $ 15. for mail delivery of documents, this is probably why your TA choice this method.

Jennifer, all you really need to take with you for your travel insurance is the policy # and the telephone # to call if you need assistance. Make sure you read the documents and know your coverage before you sail. Keep the email untill after you return. My last 3 sailings my travel insurance has come in an email. Prior to that they came in the mail and had a wallet sized card with policy # and contact phone # to carry while traveling.

I always get e-docs for insurance. I only carry the 1st page that has the outline of the coverage, the policy # and the phone #. I don't even print the rest of it but do read through it. I save the e-mail if I should need but then I delete it after I get home. No need to print it all and take it with you.

Travel Guard still provides a tri-fold description of coverage, and that is what we provide to our customers.

Glad to see it just wasn't me lol. Dh managed to get it all printed - four pages, small print on two sided sheets - so not too bad :o) He does come in handy - at times tee-hee!
