To Be Assigned Cabins

On my first cruise a few years ago I booked an Oceanview GTY, and when we arrived at the pier

the ported who took my luggage notice there were no tags on my bags as I was about to tell him, lol

the luggage tags are very important since they also indicate ship name...lol

The porter had a passenger list/manafest in his back pocket, he told us our cabin #, we had the sticky type of address labels to attach to the tags, and he wrote the cabin # on it for us.....

We didnt even realize until we were on the ship that we had been upgraded to a balcony cabin...

I didn't know that. That'll be a big help if we don't know our cabin number by then. We also opted to do the documents on line and it still says TBA. I'm not sure it can change once it's printed but I may be wrong.

Hopefully, there will be a nice surprise when we get there.

Carnival normally makes TBA (guarantee) cabin assignments by a week prior to sailing(occasionally earlier if the ship is selling well). When you find out, just cross out TBA on the luggage tags and write the correct cabin number, or as they suggested, get the tags at the pier from the porter.
