Just a quick search of 2008 itineraries out of rome that included Turkey and Santorini both when possible... these are 2008 prices... add air hotel and extras...... what do you guys think.....

I like the second cruise you listed. Is that on Celebrity? on the Galaxy? I like the overnight in Istanbul. Have you ever sailed on the Galaxy?

If everyone decides on the carribbean we could go along with that choice but the med does call you once you have been. :smile:

The second one is the itinerary that I've been looking at. The cruise director on our most recent cruise (TA on the Century) said this is his favorite itinerary.

Nice to see you again... thanks for coming out of lurking mode

We would also love a RT out of Rome. i agree with you that one day ws not enough and would love to do a pre cruise or post cruise stay in rome. Turkey is suppose to be fabulous.

Hope we can work something out that all can agree on for timetable, interest and cost.

How are you guys? Where have your travels brought you recently?

2007 took us to the Galapagos, Norway Fjords and Iceland, and a TA with stops in Morocco and Canary Islands. We definitely cruise for destinations! Hi to Paul.

Well, this all sounds very interesting...I never have any money - especially after my tree felling incident - but I can't stop cruising. Depending on when, I might be able to do a Caribbean ( would definitely want to include Barbados ) - Australia/New Zealand are fabulous and, when I went, fare from CA was only about $900, I've done the Med twice...and always want to go again. It would be such fun to have a whole gang on board!
