Interested in use of the shuttle

Joey and David

Paula

I am assuming we will try to get to the port early? Like before noon?

I guess we are Now!

Don't let me dictate the time! I just thought that most people would be interested in being on board as early as possible.

Seriously, though, I'm flexible--whatever the group favors is fine!

Paula,

This maybe the last time we sail Celebrity for a while, our next tentative cruises are: (one) A cruise that is being bantered about here..... (i am not planning it)is a small group of crazies that are putting together a Vancouver to Hawaii cruise in 2012 I think.. most likely that will be on Carnival ... and the holy land cruise for next year on Azamara.

The one thing Celebrity excels at is the Welcome Aboard with the white gloved escort to your stateroom.. and we always enjoy that...so we really wanted to experience that once again and that requires us to board after 1pm...

Let me be clear...This is a personal thing.... and depending on the shuttle schedules and the wishes of the others staying at the hotel will ultimatly determine what time we order/sign up for the shuttle.

Joey, I totally understand. For now, consider me "on the list". If the group/shuttle schedule is not what I had hoped for, then I will make my own arrangements.

It will be nice, though, to travel to the ship with friends!

you got that right...... so we sit in a chair an extra 30 minutes no biggie... they have cookies and punch!

I found this tour in St. Lucia that I thought was pretty good. I've read good things about the tour operator and wonder if anyone else would be interested in joining us on this tour. We have never been there before so would like to see as much as possible.

The tour fee is US$65 per person.

Its 5 to 6 hours. You only pay in cash at the end of the tour. We will be stopping every 10 mins for your photo moments. We will be visiting the banana plantation, fishing villages (Anse La-Raye and Canaries), also Marigot Bay where the movie Dr. Doolittle was filmed, then we will be stopping for breakfast where you can sample the local fish cakes, johnny cakes, coconut cakes, and different local fruits from the Island. We will be having a mobile bar with rum punch, local beer, water, soda. All the eats and drinks will be free. Feel free to have a drink at your convenience because the mobile bar will be with us all the time. Then we head down to Soufriere where you will have an overlook of the pitons, then the waterfall and botanical gardens. Then to the only drive-in Volcano in the world where you will be getting an informative guide to show you around. From the volcano we will be going to the beach which is the Jalousie Beach between the pitons for swimming and snorkeling, where we will be taking the water taxi. Where I will be paying the snorkeling fees. Please bring alone your snorkeling gears. After the beach we will be stopping for a drink and sample the local spice rum. On the way back to the north we will be stopping for the local hot bread and cheese for lunch. Our last stop will be 5 mins drive from the ship where you can do all your shopping for local souveniers to take back home. We will be leaving at 8:30am, You have to be at the gate for 8:20am. As soon as you come off the ship you walk into the building right in front of you, then turn right until you meet the security booth and there I will have a sign written('COSOL'). Bring along your camera. Because of the small changing room at the beach you can wear you swimsuit under you garment to save time. If you have any more queries call me on my cell (758) 7196697 or visit my website at cosol-tours.com. Thanks for emailing me. Looking forward to your confirmation reply.

Anyone else interested. So far we have

You are not committed to take this tour until we leave from Miami and I have to give the tour operator a final count.

I have written to him this morning to find the maximum # of people he will take in each van and will let you know when I hear from him. I'll keep you posted Joey in case you want to change your mind. He did say in his original letter to me that he would take as few as 2 people. If you really wanted to do this tour perhaps that would be an option for you and we could meet at certain spots during the day. Just a suggestion.

Just pushing this forward in case others are interested.

Lauren and Paula - this is the tour many of us are taking in St. Lucia. If you are interested in joining the group just let me know

Thankyou ML, we are interested in St Lucia tour, sounds nice. Can you tell me the name of the hotel??? I am trying to use map quest and I have the wrong name or address, not even the phone # is right. Drive or go Southwest to Fll and get a transfer. Have to figure that out.
