I am soooo happy!!! Princess Cruise Line will finally have a ship sailing out of Florida for the summer in 2010. They announced that the Emerald Princess will offer 7 night Eastern & Western Caribbean sailing roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale May 2010-September 2010.

Eastern will visit Princess Cays, St. Maarten, St. Thomas & Grand Turk.

Western will visit Princess Cays, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman & Cozumel.

This is a sign of the times. Princess has had just one ship sailing to the Caribbean in the summer for the last few years, and that was from New York. They are cutting their allotment of ships in Alaska next year, and will have more Caribbean sailings. It will be nice to have a choice of Princess ships to sail in the Caribbean.
