RC Explorer of Seas amenities

Hi HummerGirl - We have been on the Explorer a few times. It's a great ship - you will have a wonderful time. As for amenities what were you looking for? The shower has a combo shampoo/conditioner dispenser and of course sink and tub have those small sized soaps. There is a hair dryer in the vanity table but unless they have changed them they are not that great. They were the type where you had to hold down the button the whole time you were using them. They also couldn't be removed from the vanity table. That's about all I remember. The telephone has a very very small readout of the time and there is a small fridge in the vanity. Any more questions please ask. They will supply you with pool towels but charge you if you don't return them.

Glad to be of help. If you want body wash you will have to bring that yourself. My DH actually hates those little bars of soap they give you so I bring along a bar of regular bath soap from home and just leave it afterwards. Will this be your first cruise? If so, I must warn you that cruising is very addictive. You will be hooked just like the rest of us here. Any more questions, just ask. That's what we are all here for.

Remember that all of the bathroom stuff has to be packed in the suitcase that goes under the plane (or buy it when you get to the city you are leaving from). I made the fatal mistake of putting my body wash in my carryon. Thankfully my luggage hadn't gone "to the plane" and I was able to stow it in a pocket.

Also you will be able to see your bill on your in cabin TV screen. You will have a safe and if you want to you can have the cabin steward remove the stuff in the fridge and replace it with soft drinks you can bring onboard. Actually the ship itself is fantastic. Do try to get tickets (free) for the ice show and if you go all the way forward you can view the bridge area to see how they operate the ship. You will be amazed by how neat this ship really is. have fun. Larry
