tbarton
My first cruise is now only 3 weeks away and all of your advice has been so helpful. I am traveling with a teacher/friend instead of my husband. Just wondering how it will be socially for us. Will most of the passengers be couples and will we be sort of misfits in most activities? Longboysfan
Should not be a problem - if you are booked at a large table it would be helpful as you lear a lot from them. No misfits at the activities. There are normally more women at activities than men. Keep asking.....
bowlcoach
We have been on MANY cruises where ladies are traveling together and as singles. It makes no difference. Even with the majority being "couples", you won't even notice. Everyone has a great time. Enjoy your trip and have fun.
sailingrose
I've traveled with my daughter several times and had no issues at all. In fact we enjoy all the on board activities even some my husband doesn't want to participate in. Just go and have fun!
DebbieandJerry
Have to tell you that we travel as a couple but cruise around the ship individually. There have been many times where Jerry only knows the path from the room to the dining room to the casino. When I show him the pictures, he'll say, "was that on our ship"? For us, that is why we love to cruise. We both get to do and see what we love and don't feel like we have to hang on to each other for every passing moment. Yes, there will be far more women than men so you shouldn't feel out of place at all. Have a blast and report back to us!
