When in Halifax, you must go to Peggy's cove. It's one of the most popular spots visited. It's a cute fishing village with rich history.

We can't wait to go back.

Tim, we have never been to Peggy's Cove. We have been to Party Cove at the Lake of the Ozarks. Bet they aren't the same!

Although some Crazies expressed a desire to wait until Princess & Carnival came out with their itineraries, more Crazies expressed the desire to book the Explorer of the Seas for the 2nd official CruiseCrazies Group cruise. Carnival & NCL have already put out an across the board price increase and we believe the other lines will follow suit shortly.

So come join in the fun and get to meet your CruiseCrazies friends. This is a great itinerary and lots of good ports to visit. A real departure from the Caribbean. Lots of fun things will be planned over the next 17 months so go ahead and book now.

The Explorer of the Seas will sail from Cape Liberty, NJ on Thursday, September 15, 2011 with the following itinerary:

Sept. 15 - Depart from Cape Liberty, New Jersey

Sept. 16 - Sea Day

Sept. 17 - Portland, Maine 7:00AM - 6:00PM

Sept. 18 - Bar Harbor, Maine - 7:00AM - 5:00PM

Sept. 19 - Saint John, New Brunswick - 7:00AM - 3:00PM

Sept. 20 - Halifax, Nova Scotia - 9:30AM - 7:00PM

Sept. 21 - Sea Day

Sept. 22 - Boston, Massachusetts 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Sept. 23 - Sea Day

Sept. 24 - Arrive back at Cape Liberty at 8:00AM

Prices STARTING AT:

Deluxe & Suite - from $1640 PP

Balcony - from $1249.PP

Outside - from $1049PP

Interior - from $699PP - these include the Promonade Cabins which are very unique and popular.

Prices do not include tax and fees of approx. $115.95 PP

Since many members have expressed a preference for your own travel agent, there will be no special agent for our group. Prices are regulated by Royal Caribbean so all will pay the same price (watch for those price drops possible over the next 17 months) but different TA's offer different incentives (OBC, etc) so shop around for the best deal.

Once you have booked, please post your information or PM the information to Rose & I so we can coordinate cabin numbers and dining arrangements. If you have any questions, please ask Rose or myself and we will try to assist you.

Once we reach the 1 year out mark I will begin to look for hotels in the area for those who want to spend some time pre or post cruise. Newark airport is the closest to the pier so I will begin by looking in that general area. A short commute into New York City but I believe prices will be much more reasonable in NJ. I will research both though.

This will be the great congregation and we got a new way to get onboard again on this luxury cruising , which is really an exquisite experience of fun, enjoyment and fulfillment of all the earnest desires to move on the shores of the wonderful seas of the world for sure.

Patrick - there is still plenty of time to book this cruise and join us.

Deb - Did you do Peggy's Cove and Acadia Park on your own? I would like to be able to find a private tour company in these ports. We did both through ships tours when we went but remember the crowds and the rush at each stop. They are definate "must see" places though

Yes, we just went on our own. We were staying in a hotel near Peggy's Cove and just went there on our own and the same with Acadia/Cadillac Mtn.. In Bar Harbor they have a shuttle bus system - http://exploreacadia.com/. In Nova Scotia, it would probably be best to go on a tour....but I will research it more.

Keith & Rita - a MAYBE is great for now. Hoping you can change that to a definate yes. I look forward to meeting you.

This cruise sounds good to us. The timing is right so this is a definite maybe we will be joining you all. We would not book until sometime in 2011.

It will be great meeting both of you after all these years. Meeting eveyone last year on the Connie was one of the best parts of the cruise.

Keith & Rita....Sure hope you can make it. Will be great to meet both of you. Be ready to laugh!

Keith & Rita- Sure hope that maybe turns into a yes!! Can't wait to meet more Crazies!

Keith & Rita, I sure hope you can join us!

We sure hope we are able to make it this cruise. Just to much unknown out there right now. We were planning a similar cruise in early 2007 when we decided instead to build our retirement home. After that things pretty much went south. Since we were the general contractors on our new home the costs came in at budget. What we did not anticipate was the need to reduce the selling price of our other home when the bottom dropped out of the market. Also, our business went from highly valuable to now unable to unload! Or well, that's life!

The attractive part of this cruise, along with meeting all of you and cruising with Rose and Howie and Ellie and Frank again, is all the ports on this cruise will be new to us.

I will bring a tea bag to dump into Boston Harbor!

p.s Steve, we are always ready to laugh!
