We booked the cruise on May 27, 2010 with a $500 deposit. Final payment is not due until July 7, 2011. We could cancel as late as July 6, 2011 and get a full refund. The lost bank interest on the 500 bucks is probably no more than $7.50.

We don't plan on canceling but if we had to we would not be out any $$!

Lobster rolls at McDonalds... oh my!

There are some GREAT ports to be visited and explored. Lighthouses to take pictures of, museums to gain knowledge in, and as hikers we will definitely look into Acadia National Park in Maine to do one of the things we like to do best... hike!

I might have to try and find some "warm" clothes to bring along since we live in such a warm place all year. I think I might still have a "babushka" from when I lived in the north. Kinda looks like the one Julie Christy wore in Dr. Zhivago...

Toni - Acadia National Park is gorgeous. Cadillac mountain is a must see and do. They have many hiking trails on and around the mountain.

Toni - it's September! It's not going to be that cold.....just do what we do in the upper midwest - dress in layers. And maybe bring some ear muffs! lol
