Hi John and Jackie, We have cruised Alaska 3 times this is what we did:

Juneau, Helicopter to Mendenhall Glacier and walked on it. Whale Watching and Panned for gold once.

Ketchikan Did the floatplane to Misty Fjords (gorgeous) and the LumberJack show.

Skagway we helicopter to another glacier (Mendenhall is way better) Can't remember what else.

We've not been to Seattle and always want to go there so let us know what you do there.

I am so wanting to go to Alaska again. I'm shooting for next year. It's been too long.

Our neighbor is a muscian on Holland America and Alaska is one itinerary that he has recently completed. He said, "definitely a helicopter ride".

The book is called The Alaska Cruise Handbook, A Mile-to-Mile Guide, by Joe Upton. Cost $19.95.

I started reading it Monday to whet my appetite.
