Any ever been to Madrid?

I was navigating the UAL website today for our upcoming cruise out of Rome in the fall when to my utter surprise I discovered that it was actually about $100.00 LESS :biggrin: to book a multi destination itinerary than a R/T Chi. to Rome so I booked Chi. to Rome, then Rome to Madrid with a with a two day stop, them back to Chi. :smile:

So now any ideas about hotels, sites, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks! Larry

Kinda tough to sail to Madrid! I was there many years ago, and it was just a well-manicured European city. Prabably Orbitz or Travelocity can get you pretty good hotel rates. Easy to get around town, so you can be flexible on the location.

Yep it would be kinda hard to cruise there unless something happens like "Speed 3, cruise uncontrol." :laugh: I have found out the area that seems to be OK and a few good leads on hotels as well. :smile:
