My allure cruise from hell 9/16 to 9/23 eastern caribbean 2012

Wow! That's really bad, Steve...so sorry you and your wife had to go through all of this. I had one cruise years back where the pods broke down on our ship and we had to lose 3 days of our cruise and be dumped off in Acapulco with little warning, with thousands of people...I won't go into what a nightmare that was. It lasted 3 days. Hope your next cruise will be so wonderful you can forget this one.

We have been on Allure 4 times and Oasis once with NO PROBLEMS!!!! No lines, no waiting, great service, great food, ....that's why we have been back 4 times!! Sorry you had this experience, but we have never had anything even close to this level of difficulty. Big ships are different, yes......but they have a much larger choice of entertainment and food too. Don't write them off just based on size.

OMG how awful. man I am sorry to hear this and what are the odds of literally bumping into the same folks at the outset and the road home. Mind boggling.
