Well, it's been almost 3 years since our last cruise on the Carnival Dream. It will also be our 9th cruise, yet our 1st on RCCL. Were leaving from Tampa (about 30 minutes from home) which is a port we have yet to sail from. Looking forward to hearing from anyone sailing this cruise as well as some RCCL insight.

We love sailing out of Tampa – it’s so easy! Be sure to be out on deck when the ship sails under the Skyway Bridge on the way out of port – it’ll look like the ship is just scraping through!

On board Royal Caribbean won’t be that much different from Carnival. Maybe a little less “silly” fun (like dancing in the dining room) but you should have delicious food, wonderful service and great entertainment!

Don’t forget, you’re entitled to the same level of past passenger benefits on Royal Caribbean as you’ve earned from your cruises on Celebrity.

Thanks Mike & Amy. I watched a few vids on YouTube when a ship was passing under the Skyway bridge. Kinda reminded me of when we sailed to Bermuda from N.Y. and passed under the Verrazano narrows bridge leaving N.Y. Looking forward to RCCL...it was a LONG time coming!!! :)
