Disney in 2015 will offer its first cruises to the Norwegian fjords as well as Iceland and the Faroe Islands, the line announced today.

Disney says the 1,754-passenger Disney Magic will sail a seven-night voyage departing from Copenhagen on June 6, 2015 that will feature stops in Stavanger, Alesund, Geiranger and Bergen, Norway. Also planned is a nine-night sailing out of Copenhagen on June 20, 2015 that adds calls at Molde and Olden, Norway.

A third, 11-night departure out of Copenhagen on June 29, 2015 will feature stops in Oslo; Kristians and Stavanger, Norway; Akureyri and Reykjavik, Iceland; Torshavn, Faroe Islands; and Dover, England. The Reykjavik call will be an overnight visit.

Fares for the new itineraries start at $1,561 per person for the seven-night cruise; $2,133 for the nine-night cruise; and $2,453 for the 11-night cruise. The trips will open for bookings on Thursday (March 27).

Disney today also announced that the Disney Magic would return to the Baltic in 2015 for a series of sailings. A new seven-night itinerary out of Copenhagen will feature calls at Tallinn, Estonia; St. Petersburg, Russia; Helsinki; and Stockholm. The ship also will sail a 12-night Baltic itinerary as it has in the past.

Christened in 1998, the Disney Magic emerged from a massive, six-week makeover in October that included the addition of new deck-top fun zones, children's areas, eateries and more. Click through the carousel below to see what's new.
