Cruise Birthday Memory

Our first cruise was aboard Carnival’s Jubilee.  A couple of days in, the ship was diverted so a woman who had gone into premature labor could be sent to a hospital.  Near the end of the cruise an announcement was made that mom and new-born daughter were both doing fine and that the baby had been given Jubilee as a middle name.

Today is that baby’s twenty-first birthday.  Happy Birthday Jubilee, wherever you are.  Hope you’re having your first legal drink on a cruise ship!

Great story Amy and Michael.  I'm thinking that the Jubilee was a newer ship of Carnival way back when my first cruise was on the Carnivale. There were only a few ships back then. The times and cruise ships have sure changed since back then.  So much bigger, and a lot more restaurants and things to do.  Love it today, but still really loved it back then when the ships were smaller and we really got to know the people at our table for dinners, etc.  Hope Jubilee has had a chance to go cruising.
