"get a life"? Listen amigo I have been a critical care RN for 28 yrs. and have seen up close and personal what cigarettes do. Smoking kills and debilitates. Getting a life is exactly the point and it doesn't get any more serious than that. Isn't it time you quit? A critical care nurse should never assume....I never started so I never have to try and quit, I just think its so asinine of people trying to be judge and jury on what someone else does or doesn't do. Drinking kills and debilitates, lets stop that, also, no more booze on cruises.

You best not bet on that one, I will bet the population will decline. People that smoke are getting tired of the people that think they have a right to what they want but no one else does. With the non-smokers or at least most of them, they even gripe about someone going outside on a balcony to smoke, ewww, it might drift over. Get a life, I'd hate to see there whole world come to an end if something really serious happens in their life besides some smoke drifting over.

Can anyone help me on this one? We will be on the Sapphire princess in August. There will be 4 of us and we want to see the Scenic White Pass. We have been told it might be more fun to rent a car and go it alone. Are there car rentals there and if so how much is the going rent? Have any of you done this and is it better then taking the railway tour? Any info on this will be very much appreciated.

Thank you Dan for the reply. I know, I know, I no more and sent the question and realized the front is the bow of the ship. I have now switched to cabin C755 due to the fact I recieved a e-mail from a lady that had been upgraded to this exact cabin and said it was a great room and deck but was unable to sit on the deck due to wind. The steward would come and lock the door that was between the balcony part which is in the side and the wrap around which faced the front. Then at port would come back and unlock them while you were in port So, if you were a deck person you could not use the deck while it was at sea. It is suposedly, a safety factor. Does not happen all the time but cannot be sure when it will happen. Our TA called directly to the cruise lines and they said, yes, this was true. I cannot take a chance on an Alaskan cruise that we cannot use the deck after all the money we paid for this room. My husband would go balistic, as he wants to sit on the deck and watch all the beauty of the land. Rite On

This is a cruise we have been waiting (our first) for a long time. In August we are going to Alaska on the Princess Sapphire. We have booked a suite on the Baja deck right at the very front of the ship, cabin B104. Everyone is telling us , big mistake, it will be so windy you will never be on the deck, too cold. Has anyone out there ever had a cabin at the very front of the ship? HELP Maybe its not to late to change it. Rite On
