Thanks, I'm glad to know, because I saw a cheapie cruise on Celebrity that sails at the end of next year from Lauderdale to somewhere south of Valpariso and my husband wasn't interested because he thought it was 12 hours or so. YIKES! way longer. Going around the horn would be magnificent, but alot more. I'll keep it on my list and perhaps go with a friend sometime. Thanks for the info!
