Hi there! Hong Kong is much more scenic than Singapore. Singapore is clean and less crowded, but it has more of the feeling of a typical "City' and doesn't provide quite as much of a cultural feel. Hong Kong sits on hills and Singapore is flat. Don't get me wrong, Singapore is nice, but Hong Kong will feel like more of an experience, and it's very safe. Hope that helps.

Hi Murr, I wanted to make sure you knew that the posting of my travel blog is not intended as spam, only to help with port information, etc.. I just figure it's easier than trying to post all of that piece by piece in the forums. It's completely non-commercial, just personal experiences.

Hey there, I am a long time traveler and cruiser and I have recently returned from a multi-month cruise in Asia (and more). I created a travel blog a number of months ago and have been posting about the various ports so far with photos and port information. There are still many places I haven't added yet, but it might be helpful for you to know some information about these places before you arrive. There is a drop down menu on the sidebar of the blog where you can get quick, and basic information about the ports. They say "Port Information for....".
