    For the budget minded traveler like me, an idea to get TO Anchorage or a way to return FROM Anchorage before or after a cruise is to check the "rideshare" section of craigslist for Alaska. Just as an example, there is someone looking for 3 drivers to bring vehicles to Anchorage from Bellingham, WA. If anyone has had any experiences with stuff like this, post it here... Bon Voyage! Sue

    :cool: I'm always looking for an inexpensive way to go on another cruise. (Just call me the Frugal Cruiser)...Campbell's is giving away a cruise for 4 in May '05... in fact, they are awarding a cruise EVERY DAY for the next 50 days (they have already awarded 10)... you can get the "code" needed using a link, and you can play twice each day (second time is by getting the trivia question right, you have two out of three chances)...     When is the best time to book a cruise? Do you go ahead and pick your cabin a year or so in advance and pay more with a possible upgrade in the guarantee category? Do you book your cabin a few months in advance at a good rate and take your chances on a cabin? Do you wait till the last minute with deep discounts and take your chances on airfare? WHEN is the best time to get the BEST rate on the BEST cabin?
