  1. Thanks Joey I am just trying to figure out the price difference between a shuttle and a taxi. I will have my three year old with me and I found those shuttle busses to be more of a pain than they are worth. Also the price of a shuttle is going to be around 50 to 60 dollars so if a taxi is not much more than I will pay for the convenience. It is a Sunday debarkation so from what I a have read traffic is not that bad and we are not in that much of a hurry as our flight does not leave until 2 pm. I am checking with carnival on there prices on transfers. I have checked the rates online of the taxi companies and if you take the distance and the rate it is about $60 add a little for traffic it is not that much more. I would just like to know if people have done this and what it cost them. Also if there are taxi's waiting at the port or if you need to call them. Thanks again
  2. Has anybody taken a taxi from LAX to the long beach port? How much did it cost? How long of a trip was it? After debarkation are there taxi's waiting at the port or do you need to call one? Thank you for your help
  3. We are doing the Carnival Pride to Mexican Riviera. I am thinking of a golf day with carnivals golf package. Has anybody tried this golf package is it any good? Is it worth the money? We are thinking of staying at the coast hotel in long beach does anybody know if they have a shuttle from LAX? Thanks
  4. Thank you all. I guess i am not even a first timer yet. we are looking at going on our first cruise this coming October. We have traveled to mexico and the dominican republic many times and want to try something with a little shorter flight as it is hard to keep a three year old busy for 7 hours. I am sure i will have many questions for you all please be patient with me. Thanks again
