  1. We learned after 10 cruises how not to overpack like we did in the past. I remember a time when we took a suitcase just for shoes! Can't believe we ever did that. It took me a long time, but even as a woman I can now cut down to the bare minimum, and not be lacking. I mean, I can always buy a Tshirt on the ship or in a port if I need one, so why overpack Tshirts? Neutral, solid colors can be mixed and matched. And if I wear the same outfit for both formal nights? Big whoop. When I stopped caring about what other people thought, then I also was able to cut back on what I pack. And, room to spare in the suitcase means room to bring home purchases!
  2. Hi there. On cruises we tend to like the late seating better, even though we don't eat dinner at 8:15 at home. And then we stay up to see the shows, which means we don't get to bed till well after midnight. Definitely not our routine at home! So I would say that definitely our sleeping habits - and eating habits - are much different on a cruise. Now, if only we had a cabin steward at home to make the beds, clean the bathroom, leave towel animals....
  3. Thanks for the welcome, everyone! We're cruising on the Crown Princess next week, so I'll be sure to post a review when we get back. Counting the days! I can't wait to go. This is our second time on this ship - we've been on Carnival twice and Royal Caribbean twice, too. Sharon
