Sorry to have to say that Mark and Barbara canceled this cruise as of yesterday. Anyone wanting an aft cabin might look for ours today. My job ends this Friday so we are on iffy terms with money and don't feel we can do this cruise without my salary to back it up. All of you please have the best of times! Enjoy the warm weather!

Sorry for not answering sooner. I have been in baby shower/house cleaning chaos since last Thursday AM. Mark and I have no dietary restrictions and would love anyplace everyone decides on! Fish sounds good and we love ribs as well! After checking out the airport shuttle and port shuttle situation, we have tentatively booked at the Hyatt. Two days before and one day after the cruise. I am in no way sure if this is what we are doing but if we don't end up using Hilton or Sheraton points, this looks like the best location for us. I will have a better handle on our plans when I see the flight availability first part of December.

Wow..so much going on and me not taking a look at the chatting all weekend! I will know about our plans for before the cruise (we will arrive either 2 days or 1 day before) as soon as the flights open up for me to look at and that will be in the very first part of December, around the 5th. I think it is 330 days ahead? I know we will have to stay after the cruise for 1 night because the only flight home on Alaska Airlines leaves each morning. Anyway, the private room at a restaurant sounds like a fun idea. As for the Martini Bar, count us in! Mark rarely drinks, but will have a sip of whatever I order. I will post as soon as I can take a look at the Alaska Airlines flights out of here to Miami. I have miles but they go so fast now I have no idea whether I will be able to use them or not. I will feel much better when I have some concrete plans so far as my travel!

I don't know where we would fit in the re-count yet. The airline I use is a red eye flight arriving in Miami early in the morning. Being an unusually stressed out person, I make arrangements for us to fly in Saturday night/arrival Early Hours Sunday morning. But, the airline miles will decide whether we leave Friday or Saturday night. It is getting harder and harder to use miles. I won't be able to know until the 330 days ahead, so in December. I have not decided whether or not to rent a car. That will be decided by the hotel I stay in, which I have not decided yet. I am just full of "undecideds"...or instead I will call it "possibilities". I am leaving for Vegas to meet Betsy on Thursday PM on Allegiant Air. I think Vegas will give me a new lease on getting my "stuff" here at home done! So, to reiterate, I don't know when I will arrive, I don't know if I will rent a car and I don't know where I will stay. I can't be on ANY list! Bummer!
