Princess Cruises have just announced new changes are coming to the Princess plus, and Premier packages.  These changes will come into effect as of July 21st 2025 but are these changes really worth it?  To answer this question; you’ll need to read on.

The two packages will now include:

The Premier package

• The price will increase from $90.00 per day to $100.00 per day ($105.00 per day for Sphere Class ships)

• A new shore excursion credit will be added as follows: $100.00 for cruises 6-9 days, $200.00 for cruises 10-20 days, and $300 for cruises over twenty one days

• The package will no longer include premium desserts, juice bar access, Medallion shipping, fitness classes, and Princess prizes

The Princess Plus package:

• The price will increase from $60.00 per day to $65.00 per day ($70.00 per day for Sphere Class ships)

• Two additional casual dining meals will be included (for a total of four)

• The package will no longer include premium desserts, juice bar access, Medallion shipping, fitness classes, and Princess prizes

• There will now be a limit of 'Fifteen drink per person per day' which also INCLUDES non-alcoholic beverages (such as sodas and coffee drinks). Water is not included in the limit, but will be capped at twelve drinks per person per day.

But what if I have a cruise booked, and the departure is BEFORE that date?

Don't worry, because the good news is 'if your cruise departs before July 22, you will have your original price, and package honored.' This means you can relax, and enjoy your cruise.
