schatje - I am so glad that your cruise was not our first! I would never have gotten my husband back on another cruise ship - ever! We sailed for the first time this past January out of Port Canaveral. It was only 50 when we left port - way too cold! But we had a lot of sun the remainder of the cruise and it was back up to 75 by the time we returned to Florida. We have spent a week in St. Maarten and it rained every day for about 15 minutes - does it do this at sea also?? I have booked a 7 day Western on the Carnival Miracle for Jan 06 and we are planning on golfing at every port of call - so no rain please! We now have the cruise bug and we cannot get enough!

Thank you GottaCruz, I was very pleased to read such a positive review of the Miracle! I will be checking out these boards more often now that I have another cruise date set and plans to make.

I have also booked our next cruise on the Carnival Miracle for January 2006. I have never cruised Carnival - only Disney - I hope we like to Carnival as much as we liked the Disney. It is just my husband and I sailing (no kids - yeah!) and we are planning on the golf excursions. Does anyone have any info on them? Make sure you give us a detailed report of the Miracle - I have been having a very hard time finding out any info on this ship.
