  1. Happy Birthday Obxrtist!

  2. Thanks! Looking forward to checking out the site enhancements.

  3. Hi Ed and welcome to new Cruise Crazies.

  4. We agree - we checked alot of different sites to try and get info on our upcoming cruise (Millenium, Oct. 29th). Everyone on this site has been very helpful and friendly. :cheesy:
  5. So many questions! I'll try not to bore you with too many details! We won't be arriving in Barcelona until the day we sail & unfortunately won't be staying over in either Barcelona or Venice. This trip is actually a gift given to me by my employer for 30 yrs service. Lucky for DH he was included in the deal for 30 yrs tolerance! We are fortunate to have our best friends travelling with us. We're all from a very small town called Poquoson - which is about 30 miles from Virginia Beach. We're in cabin 2033 and they're in 2029 and we have early seating for dinner. The 2 gentlemen in our group have previous travel experience overseas but this will be new territory for us ladies. I feel so fortunate to have stumbled onto your site w/all it's knowledge & information. The support you offer everyone is truly a wonderful thing. Becky
  6. Hi to you too Joey! I have to plead ignorance on the name deal - it took me a little while to figure out adding our names (signature) to the site. I'll probably be really good w/ this by the time we sail!
  7. That's great to know, thanks! I didn't have any idea Target, WalMart, etc., would sell the locks so that will save me a lot of time/trouble. Now we just have to fit everything in our bags w/out exceeding the weight limit!
  8. I checked out the info on TSA's website. Looks like the minimal cost for the TSA approved locks is worth it for peace of mind... so, am ordering locks from Magellan's. I really appreciate the input... this site has been a God-send with all the info it provides - THANK YOU!!!! Becky
  9. Thanks for the info - my DH says I over analyze everything & worry too much - at least I know our bags aren't the only ones that won't be locked! 10 days & counting until we leave for Barcelona & cruise on the Millennium! :cheesy:
  10. We are newbies to international flight travel and would appreciate any advice or experience concerning use of luggage locks and straps. With all the changes in airline regulations, we're not sure if locks are even permitted but did see info on TSA's website about using TSA approved locks.
