  1. Thanks for replying to my queries! I thought about that balcony dinner but Paul loves his dining room service. It's his birthday too on Wed.. Sometimes we do independent excursions too but this time is a little different with so many different personalities going together. Might look into one on Cozumel though. Have you heard of any good companies? Otherwise I will search the web. I usually do pretty well. We have booked stingrays in GC and kayaking the white river in Jamaica man. Well, I see my basic english going downhill so will say goodnight to all and sweet dreams!
  2. HI EVERYONE! SHORE EXCURSIONS ARE UP. NOW IF OUR GROUP CAN ALL AGREE ON THE SAME ONES (OR NOT). I AM A SCRAPBOOKER (BIG TIME) AND I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD BE NICE TO ORDER A STAR PRINCESS SCRAPBOOK FOR EACH OF MY FRIENDS AND HAVE IT PUT INTO THEIR CABIN. I HAVE ALWAYS DONE A SCRABOOK FOR EACH OF OUR TRIPS TOGETHER IN TIME FOR THEIR BIRTHDAYS. HAS ANYONE EVER ORDERED ANY OF THE GIFTS OFFERED ON THE PRINCESS SIGHT? WERE THEY IN THE CABIN AS PLANNED AND WERE THEY WORTH THE TROUBLE AND/OR MONEY? THERE ARE ALSO STAR PRINCESS JOURNALS I COULD TRY AND THEN BUY MY OWN BOOKS WHAN I GOT HOME. WHAT DO YOU THINK? IT IS A GORGEOUS SUNNY FALL DAY IN WISCONSIN. HAVE TO GO OUT AND ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS. HAVE A FINE, FINE DAY YOU ALL.
  3. OK, dilemma over cause I just sent the passport renewal in as is. My husband Paul reminded me that he got his in 3 weeks so we'll see what happens. PrincessOne: We all had t-shirts for The Cornett Family Cruise over Christmas 2002 to celebrate our son's engagement. It said the theme and the itinerary on the back and each person's name or nickname on the front. It sure made the embarkation photo special. We had the rule that everyone had to wear them for embarkation day (of course, we made the rules cause we paid for the trip). So Paul and I, sons PJ, Matt and Nick, daughter-in-law to be Heather and niece Julie all looked great. And people on board the ship were just crazy about them. They started more conversations with new people. A great ice breaker. EVERYONE: Hopefully excursions will be up soon now that the spa reservations are up. Friends Marla and Al also got their room assignment posted to their summary (they had booked run of the ship). Also we moved up on the dining wait list from 207 to 199. Slow but steady winns the race! It's good to see that the personalizer really works. To all a great sunny day!
  4. Good, at least one reply. I was really anxious to hear from someone, anyone. Thanks PrincessOne. Here's the dilemma: I have to renew my passport. I can mail it in myself and it's all set to go BUT they said 8 weeks turn around time. Is this taking too big of a chance? Has anyone had to do this recently? Should I pay the extra $60 and put a rush on it? We have to post our immigration info how far in advance of sailing? BigRed is worried!
  5. my husband and I are sailing on the Star on Jan. 20th along with our great friends Harvey and Nancy AND Marla and Al. we have sailed on her once before to Alaska. it was FABULOUS! we are in cabin E206 balcony. got it for a song compared to other balcony deals we've had. but we always go balcony. this will be our 10th cruise. we have never planned one on such short notice so this is a real first for us (less than 90 days seems really soon). the six of us have traveled togerther before but NEVER all 6. We can't wait. what is everyone's experience with anytime dining? we are waitlisted for traditional seating #207. also why aren't the shore excursions available yet? CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, BIG RED
