Aye, welcome Calico Bess!! How 'bout that scurvy mate of yours, he got a name?? Nah not as of yet...I still have him up there in the crows nest. He otta be down sometime Tues.! (When he gets a day off from work!) *Not sure he'll have much more on his mind this week but the deer hunting opener on Fri. He goes up north around Canada for a week or so to you know...do that male bonding stuff and shoot Bambi. So, his getting a name may take awhile!

You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

I've acted/directed live stage theatre for *&^$ years. And started writing short story contemporary fiction about 3 years ago. How about you? What provides groceries for you and yours?

lol yeah that would be a challenging thing to spell! Being a writer/director I would have to script it something like this... "as he drew the breath deeply in and out his lungs...the sounds in his chest were that of an old rusty steamtrunk being opened after many long years of it's jailed existance."
