  1. sounds fun, we normally just head back to the hotel and lounge around the pool for the day but a day trip like that sounds like an intersting experience. If its the same hotel we stayed in its actually pretty close to the beach area not a bad cab ride 5 miles or so. Also again if its the one we stayed in there are alot of strip malls around and plenty of food if your interested in close walking distance. Wife just checked and yes its the same hotel, gotta taco bell right next door.
  2. Thanks, The wife and me have had alot of good times in our car, its the thing that keeps us goin till our next cruise
  3. Ya Did seem a bit pricey but I'm still interested. I didnt see if this was gonna be a "sea day excursion" or an in port day excursion. Would be nice on an in-port day when we go to a stop that we prefer to stay on the boat.
  4. Hey this is some awesome news, I have always wanted a behind the scenes tour. Any chance I have gotten to tour the galleys or backstage area has always been exciting for me. Now Carnivals gonna offer it as an excursion. Looks like fun, cant wait to get a chance to see it!!! saw this on the website news area here is the link to it: http://www.cruisecrazies.com/cruisenews/cr..._news/1623.html
  5. Awesome pic love it, but heres my nightmare, just imagine this, your sitting on the beach, and from a distance you see your ship is sailing away... now look at the picture... a bit scary huh?
  6. For us it was just a matter of going down to the pursers desk and having it removed. We did pay in cash a few times but now we prefer them just take it out. We also reduced it one time to an extremely bad room steward. So bad we had to ask for toilet paper and he told us he would see if he had any with a confused look on his face, it was the second day of the cruise.
  7. Yup the same we chow down, put our bags away, tour the ship. Then our next ritual is we find the deck right above bridge, which is usually an open deck, after muster drill we head up and watch the ship leave port and sail off into the open blue. The wind in my face and feel of the salty air lets me know the cruise has started!!!
  8. The Wife and me have a couple favorites in grand cayman. The first was Stingray city. my wife was scared to death at first but by the end was holding a 70 pound stingray like a baby. It was simply one of the most unusal and unforgetable experiences we have had on an excursion. You have to try it at least once. We also went on an Island tour. We got to see many amazing site, even got to visit hell and send friends and family postcards from hell!!!
