I dont' know how much the boatride to the sandbar would be if you went without a tour booking. It cost 42.00 apiece for adults but I understand you can get it cheaper if you don't go thru Carnival. The ride on the boat to the sandbar is about a half an hour. You don't even have to get off the boat you can watch everything from onboard but, you will want to go in when you get there and see how gentle they are. I said the same thing that I would stay onboard but I didn't and I was glad. They do not nip and on the way out to the sandbar the trainer tells you all about them and how to handle them. I heard you can get this same tour for about 20.00 so shop around.

We just came back from a Carnival Cruise. We also did the fun pass online and got the incomplete. We were told by Carnival just to print it out and bring it with us. That is what we did, we bypassed the regular lines and there was someone there to direct us to the funpass line. In less than an hour we were eating lunch on the Lido deck so don't sweat it just bring the paper with you.

....The jester is in Cozumel along the main drag there they have five or six of them on the water side of the street. Yes Ken had his hand in the stingrays mouth...he was feeding him. They give you squid and you hold it in your hand and they suck it out of your hand. I din't get quite that adventureous (spelling?) If you wipe your hand on your bathing suit they swim all around you. But they are so soft and beautiful you lose your fright immediately.
