  1. Joey Hold the two places for Louise and me till some further checking is done. Thanks Judson
  2. Joey If Karen and John have booked it and you and David have booked it and now Louise and I want to be included - that's 6 already. What will everyone else do???? Judson
  3. LOUISE AND I WANT TO DO THIS JOEY. THIS WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!
  4. Joey - You keep changing the background color of the "Connie Goes Crazie" logo. What is the actual background color? I know you put it out in three different colors at the beginning. We are in St Thomas from 8AM to 6PM so there's plenty of time. I would like to do the St John thing too. I'm going to look at the ship's tour to St John ( if they have one ).
  5. You guys are too funny. I've just been catching up since Valentine's Day. Yeah - I guess we could all use bibs with the "Connie Goes Crazie" on the front - at least the men - LOL!!! St Thomas must be one of the most visited islands in the Caribbean. Louise and I were there back in the 1970s and on the far side of the island, there was the most beautiful beach called Magan's Bay Beach. We were staying on the island for a week at BlueBeard's Castle - a beautiful place - and we went to Magan's Bay Beach several days. It was a huge heart shaped beach and there was hardly anyone there. I bet it's not that way today. It's still listed as one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world.
  6. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I did it right. That like takes you to the site where you can look things over and actually design your own TShirt with pictures and logos of anything that you can "upload" into the design site.
  7. Well even though we won't get the shirts i dreamed of .. the ones of us that want souvenirs can get a shirt from Judson, if he proceeds.. and who knows.. we still may find a solution.. it's just i am not as hopeful as before.. but then alot of my plans/ideas throughout the years have ended up on the "cutting room floor" OK I'm not in the TShirt business. I did want a TShirt. My other cruise group always has someone do a design just for each cruise that we took. TShirts are one of the main souvenirs that Louise and I collect from each cruise - also making sure to get one from each port and each ship. We do wear them when we return home as well as during the cruise. From what I read - no one on this CruiseCrazies trip really was interested in a TShirt. I paid a place here in Columbus $30.00 to redraw the small "Connie Goes Crazie" drawing that appears on page one of our postings. To enlarge the small drawing made a larger copy fuzzy. This place also sells the plain TShirts of different thickness all the way to sweat shirts. Anyway - the shirt looks just like the one that Joey placed several ponstings back on this site. The "Connie Goes Crazy" logo isn't an iron on. It's actually printed on the shirt and is part of the shirt. It is beautiful and I'm very happy with them for Louise and me. The TShirts are Glidan Ultra Cotton. They are 100% preshrunk made in Haiti They were $12.00 each and I got one for me and one for Louise. I'm most likely going back - since the company has the drawing - and get a couple long sleeve TShirts as well. Again - I'm not in the business to sell shirts. I can work with Joey if he or anyone else wants a TShirt. The site for the company that does these shirts is http://www.needlesandinkstudio.com/home I have no idea if I did that right or not - anyway, the name of the company here in Columbus, GA is Needles and Ink.
  8. I too have limitations..mine is climbing stairs.. walking i can stroll for a while..but climbing steps and hills give me problems.. without being to nosey is Louises limitations walking? or just general exertion? I am aware of the sun limits she faces... It's joint arthritis so walking fast and distances is a problem and I have to plan all activities around that. She just doesn't do sun or lay in the sun. Now - I can hang out in the sun with ya all day long - LOL!!!!
  9. There is a good ships tour for Willemstad. The tour departs from pier side with a short drive through the Otrobanda of town to view some typical old mansions from the past and passing by the famous floating bridge that connects both sides of Willemstad. Drive over the high bridge from where one can enjoy a beautiful view of the city of Willemstad and the harbor entrance. Our first stop is the old mansion of Chobolobo that houses the original distillery of the world famous liquer, Blue Curacao. After some tasting, and an opportunity to purchase some bottles, we continue the drive through the Eastern part of the island and the residential area of Jan Thiel where we will visit - Caribbean Handicraft, which offers a variety of local and Caribbean souvenirs. From the terrace of Caribbean Handicraft one has an excellent view of Spanish waters with it's yacht clubs and sailboats from around the world. Next we will make a short drive through Willemstad to offer the opportunity to those who wish to remain in town for some shopping before we continue and end the tour at the cruise ship pier. This tour lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes and the cost is $28.00. The activity level is listed as "mild." I like tours like this as it is transportation that gets us around to see the island. It's called "City Highlights East." I'm going to want to plan something like this on each island. The activity level must be "mild" for Louise.
  10. O my!!! Made the final payment????? I'll just hang out and wait till the August 21st deadline and have it zapped onto my Cruise Credit Card at that time.
  11. I sent you an email pic of what I had in mind. I do remember reading that no one else was interested in a simple TShirt. Like I said - I wanted additional TShirts of this nature. O Joey I had no intentions of selling any. They were personal for Louise and me. I would never get involved in selling anything when the sponsor of the group was working on shirts for sale.
  12. Joey, I want whatever TShirt the group comes up with. However, I would like several other TShirts to celebrate this cruise and to wear around town and during the cruise. I want the trip logo very large and in the center of the TShirt. Can I do this?
  13. Joey, Are there any restrictions to the use of our cruise logo - the "Connie Goes Crazie" logo. I'm talking about the blue one that you created and used on the pins. I'm sure the CruiseCrazies logo has use restrictions but how about our November cruise logo???
  14. It's a long way across the country and a number of hours cooped up in an airplane. We did it this past September. If I were flying across country and had this choice - I would choose to do it first class - just for more comfort room.
  15. Judson you should know that is only in-effect if enough passengers take advantage of it..we too ordered this service but on luggage tag day we were informed the service was not available because of lack of interest! OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Surely there will be enough interest when everyone finds out how great and simple it is.
  16. O yeah!!! GOOD MORNING EVERYONE. My countdown clock says 272 days this morning.
  17. These flights have us flying out of Atlanta at 1:30 PM on November 7th and arriving in Miami at 3:21 PM which is really perfect as we have to take a two hour shuttle from Columbus to the Atlanta airport. Trying to park at the Atlanta airport is a nightmare and the Columbus/Atlanta shuttle drops you right at the Delta terminal door. Then we're leaving Miami at 12:20 PM on November 22nd and arriving in Atlanta at 2:18 PM and after riding the shuttle to Columbus, we'll be home around 5:00 PM. Five years ago, I never would have planned a 12:20 PM departure from a port city because getting off a ship took so long. But our cruises in the past couple years seem too have gotten this getting off the ship in hand. We've been off before 10:00 AM on every cruise for the last couple years. Let's hope this one is not different. There was another first for us on the Celebrity Infinity Alaska cruise this past September. For what I thought was a nominal amount of money, Celebrity picked up the luggage on that last night and took care of checking it on the plane and you didn't see it again until you got to your home airport. That was WONDERFUL. We didn't have to deal with our luggage at the cruise terminal or upon arrival at the airport. I will do that again any time I have the opportunity. Again - that was WONDERFUL. We just walked off the ship to our airport transportation and never had to worry about dealing with luggage.
  18. LOL JOEY!!! That's for sure. I've been reading about the various tours in all our stopovers. I've picked out some that look very interesting.
  19. O MY GOODNESS!!!!!! I just bought our air transportation Atlanta/Miami/Atlanta. I've been seriously looking since mid December. Prices for two (roundtrip) has been $611.00, $532.00, $492.00. Today a rate popped up with the exact times that I wanted to fly and the rate for two with taxes and fees was $394.00. I just didn't feel that I could afford to let that price go by so the deal was made and I'm happy with it - LOL!!!! Now - I'm not going to look any more so if the rest of you guys get "fire-sale" prices, don't tell me - ha, ha, ha. Let me continue being pleased with myself for grabbing this price right now.
  20. The last time I checked Atlanta/Miami/Atlanta was January 26 and the total airfare, taxes and fees was $492.38 for two adults. I just don't know whether to snap it up this early or wait. I see that the price of gas is going back up as we knew it would. We knew that after the election that would happen.
  21. I've been wondering the same thing because I want to start looking at them.
  22. Sorry - I've been out of town for a few days - a fun weekend in ATLANTA. That menu looks very good. I think there is something there for every taste.
  23. I emailed Flo yesterday and got my reply from her today. The reservations are fine - the confirmation number changed. All is well.
  24. LOL!!! I also try to book cruises when school is in session - more adults and less kids on a ship. Now don't get me wrong parents and grandparents - I love kids but from afar now. I had my 37 years with 12 year olds when I was teaching. LOL - When I retired, I told everyone that I wasn't going to speak to anyone unless they were over 20. I was just joking and it sounded funny at the time.
