Hey..my favorite day of the year is when we "spring" our clocks ahead in the spring! :)))))) And July 4th....I used to love Halloween too but down here it isn't as fun as it was up north!

Well...seems we had some wealthy folks move in someplace behind us and they always have great fireworks !! So we sit at our bar at the pool and watch fireworks for New Years! It's supposed to be in the low 80's daytime adn 60's at night! This is by far the warmest New Years since we have lived down here..we usually have a bon fire but ot if it's gonna be that warm! If any of you guys gets a bug up your butt come on down! We have plenty of room! It is actually light till almost 6 pm now so I can walk after work again! I always really hated those short northern days...lots different down here..I don't get much depression time any more!

Good morning!!! OK..talk about a blonde moment... (don't tell Term!) I was on my way home from work yesterday...talking with my Mom on the cell (still legal to drive and talk in FL) anyway she says "so, you have bowling tonite"...and I said Mom, I bowl on Tuesdays....she says " Karen, today is Tuesday!" holy crap!!! Talk about scrambling!!!

when we were kids growing up in NY we used to pick grapes for a vineyard!! Every year a man would come around with a pickup truck an load as many of us in the back as he could fit. The first day we would eat almost as much as we picked....and go home to suffer the concequences....then he knew the next day we wouldn't eat a single grape!! LOL!!!

janet..is it white or red? My kids get me 6 months of wine of the month club every year! I love it! I don't always like it all but you can always find somehting to do with it even if it comes down to cooking! My cats are picky too...you wanna hear a good one...they love fancy feast....but ONLY the pink box!!! If I buy a different color box they will not eat it! And I have 4 cats!!!!

Good morning all!!! I didn't go back to the beginning but it sure seems like we all had a great xmas! I had so much fun with my parents and daughter... Scott and Chris too! The 4 of us "younger" ones took the golf cart out around my parents neighborhood and looked at everyones decorations! Scott and I stood on the back of the cart! Wind was blowing and it felt just like xmas up north! Looks like it will warm up alot for New Years..... we have had cold NY since we've been here so it should be nice :)

Well, I know I have alot to be grateful for since I still have my parents... I moved to Florida so I could spend time with them....always wished the rest of my family had followed but we all have our lives to live. Janet 500 big ones!!! That is unheard of..but they really appreciate all the hard work I do...I guess it pays off,huh?!!! Oh Janet, that is where you get your great cooking skills from! It is so wonderful that you can carry on the tradition. I love you guys .....
