Hi MaryLou & Peggy! Quick check in before leaving for work.... MaryLou- have a safe drive and I hope Colin is feeling better; sounds like the same bug I had. It's going around. Peggy- so happy for you that you got your roommate! Got a call last night. It was my son. He said Ashley wants to talk to you. She had picked up his phone and said, "Call Memama now!" She got on the phone and told me she loved me and wanted to have a "party" (our sleepovers). Told her soon so she told her Daddy, "We go over to Memama's house now for a party!!" Have a great w/e! I got in an uproar last night when I read about them asking for the reply from Lee Miles!!! They aren't even going!!! I didn't even get it until Mon. pm, anyway!! Lee finally just started laughing and then I laughed and went to bed. Don't p**# off a redhead; a tired one at that!! I'm glad he will feel free to "relinquish" our lists! Probably doesn't trust me to do it according to his specifications!! Martha

Hi MaryLou & Peggy- Trying to keep up but doing well, so forgive me if I don't post. Today is done, so only 6 more left, but the next 3 will be killers. F/S/S I have 12 hr. shifts each day and Monday I agreed to be at a health fair at 6:30 am !!! Oh, woe is me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MaryLou- tell me more about the handicapped parking. We had really counted on that; not sure what we will do now. Just 1 more thing to add back onto the list. Peggy- sounds like Elaine is going, so I am happy for you. Hi MaryLou & Peggy- MaryLou- LOL!! I take my coffee with me when I have my fasting lab. Causes quite a stir, but I don't care. As soon as the needle comes out of my arm, I am having my first sip!! Continuing saga: Took it to the auto repair place my family uses and already picked it up! They said they had to replace 9 feet of wiring and charged us only $100 and it actually runs and the lights work!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!! Still waiting to hear about son's car........... Okay- I just made my precruise mani/pedi for Dec. 1. I can check that off. My calendar looks atrocious for the next 2 months. Maybe I better not look anymore!!

MaryLou- Don't know how to reply to PM, but that is fine!! What a morning!! son's car on the blink and trying to help him get it resolved. Lee's truck has been in the shop since Fri. Took it to AAA Automotive; big mistake!!! Finally called them again mid morning and they said, oh yeah, we have the paperwork right here; can't fix it- it's electrical and we don't do that. Called around and finally found someone who does electrical; went to AAA to pick up truck to drive it to next place and they say they locked the key in the truck!!! Luckily, I had a spare key and we dropped it off at the new place. We then had to drive downtown to find where I will be giving shots on Thurs!!!!! In between, had to pack up supplies for the shots. I can finally take a deep breath!! I'm hungry; I'm going to get a quick bite.

Good morning!! I couldn't sleep last night and was tossing and turning until after 2 then woke up at 7:30. Ugh, and I have a lot to do today. I will be working the next 9 days straight so don't know how much I will be able to check in; it's not that I don't want to, believe me, I will just be very busy. Please don't forget about me!!! I told Lee I will meet him again Nov. 1, but he volunteers for the election and is in charge of a voting area, so he will be busy until Nov. 4. We will really need to cruise by then!! Will check in later...............

Hi Peggy- I'm sorry you did not make as much as you wanted on the garage sale. That's my story, too. I'm so glad Elaine may be able to go with you on the cruise. Hi MaryLou and Peggy- Peggy- are you STILL counting your money??? If so, I want you to come and do a garage sale for me!! I never seem to make much! MaryLou- your pictures are wonderful. What a nice looking family you have! I hope the heart association made lots of money last night. Deb's dress is gorgeous and Ashleigh's little doll looked just like her. TJ seems like he's "full of the devil." Is he? My Ashley is, to be sure!! Aubrey is the baby and she likes to cuddle and is very nuturing. Isn't it amazing how different each one is with their own personality? Well girls, I really want to start packing, but couldn't stand myself if I did it this early. Instead, I think we will try to get more Christmas shopping done. Have fun babysitting and will check in later. Maybe Peggy will have finished counting by then!!!

Well, we went out today and bought a portable IPOD speaker and a garden flag that we are going to hang on our cabin door. It is very tropical and says Somewhere......Some Beach, and has a Adirondack chair in some sand with the water, a parrot and some hibiscus. We are also bringing our 5 o'clock somewhere flag to hang off our balcony. We are still planning to bring some lights for the balcony and our Christmas tree. Went looking today, but couldn't find one. Can you tell I'm excited?? Also, took out formal wear and hung it in the bedroom, so I guess that means we have started to pack!!?? I keep telling myself if I get thru October, I have it made!! (Myself is not believing it!) We may order our new glasses tomorrow....not sure. I have an eye plan and Lee for sure is getting new sunglasses and maybe I will, depending on cost. What are you wearing on embarkation?

Hi, I'm back! I'm letting my hair grow and it is finally long enough to be in a bob!! It looked so good when I left but I doubt I will be able to do the same! Oh well, it was fun while it lasts!! Peggy- hope your garage sale goes well and you make lots of money!! MaryLou- hope your family has a wonderful time tonight. Good morning! I'm back; you can't keep a good woman down! I feel pretty washed out; it was a nasty bug I had. Have a hair appt today and then that's all. Not doing anything else. Next week will be bad. I work Tues thru Sunday so probably won't post all that much. Bear with me. My schedule improves in November, I think! Alex, our 10 y/o granddgtr, brought home lice!! She went on a field trip with school and was gone 2 nights. Came home and went to school the next day and the school nurse called to come and get her. Poor Scott, he now has to clean and scrub down the house, sheets, clothes and all the girls. I told him he and Monica would also have to use the shampoo. He was not happy! Told him it is rampant down here right now in the schools. Peggy- not ignoring the other thread; just have nothing to say. Have to watch everything I post so I don't offend our "friend" and am tired of posting the same thing over and over. I read it, but just haven't responded. I won't leave you in the lurch!! I think you may have to take something stronger prescribed by the Dr. You can't just keep going without sleep!! Peggy- busy day for you yesterday, but glad to hear you are okay. Hi MaryLou and Peggy- We did over 300 shots yesterday!! Pretty good turnout. Today I work my 12 hrs. I keep telling myself when this month is over I can sleep!! MaryLou- yeah, you have a lot on your mind right now. You should probably give in and take something to get some rest. Have you ever taken tylenol pm? It has benadryl in it and may help you sleep. I have taken it for a long time.... a DR. I knew once told me it's the most harmless medicine to take for sleep. Good luck with that. I am glad TJ doesn't understand or let his problem affect him!! He and Ashleigh sound like such great kids!! Peggy- how is Nick doing? How cold is it supposed to be today? It is supposed to be rainy today thru tomorrow. MaryLou- You have been thru so much lately, it's understandable if you don't feel like "talking". I know I can speak for Peggy when I say we are here for you. How are the shingles? How was Ashleigh's 2nd day? Did her teacher come today? How is TJ handling the diagnosis? Shopping didn't help???!!! Peggy- I would encourage you to have a flu shot in mid Nov. If you get it then, you will have antibodies built up for the cruise. That is our plan. Back is hurting....we gave approx. 350 shots. Have a good night!!! Martha

Hi MaryLou & Peggy- Well, today I start giving flu shots and I will be mostly busy from now until the end of October. Don't know about November, yet. Last night I realized we only have 8 weeks until we start our vacation and started to panic. Kept asking Lee if he thinks we will get everything done!! I saved another $60 on my Majesty cruise!! My TA said he didn't think it could go down anymore unless the decreased the port charges and taxes!! I will try to check in later..............have a great day! Martha

MaryLou- Read about TJ on the Daily Dock. Glad it's better than some of the other diagnoses, but sorry it has to be anything. Don't know anything about it but if you have trouble finding info, I will be glad to help you search. How did Ashleigh's first day at the new school go? I am really tired today. Need to get back the energy I had about 10 yrs ago!!
