  1. Jackie, I am lucky that after being laid off 18 months ago, I made the jump to teaching online college fulltime. While I make a lot less, I am able to still work while cruising and enjoying life a whole lot more. My idea of a perfect day is teaching statistics/leadership from whatever cruise ship we are on at the time. I have taught while on six cruises (isn't technology great?). This cruise is a Western Caribbean 7 day that starts at Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; Roatan, Honduras; Cozumel, Mexico; Princess Cays, Bahamas; Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I booked a day at Foster's West Bay Beach at Roatan, Honduras through ShoreTrips. Here are the other ports that we have visited so far http://ronaldbeach.com/id9.html. I must admit that I am totally addicted to cruises. Ron
  2. Thanks MayLou, I am listed but was not sure if that was the method of contacting others or thru forum posts. Sorry, my lack of knowledge of the Cruise Crazie community is showing. Take care, Ron
  3. Good morning everyone, We are booked on the Feb 6th Crown Princess and was wondering if anyone else will be sailing with us? Ron
  4. We are booked on the Crown Princess for Feb 6 and I love the new digital documents. Besides the countdown counter, it is a nice way of getting information and news from the cruise line. I like it so far. Ron
  5. Bert Stratton’s “Ready to Rock” (he performed it while we were on the Caribbean Princess) and “Beyond The Sea” by Celtic Woman
  6. We largest we have sailed on were the Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas. The wife loves their design but I prefer the Radiance class (on RCL) or Sea Princess size (Princess). While the Freedom seemed crowded, the Liberty did not and there were 1,000 children aboard.
  7. My top three were: 1. Sea Princess (Princess Cruise Line) 10 days—New York to Quebec 2. Radiance of the Sea (Royal Caribbean Cruise Line) 8 days – Eastern Caribbean 3. Grand Princess (Princess Cruise Line) 10 days – New York to Quebec My dream cruises are: 1. Mediterranean 2. Australia / New Zealand 3. Scandinavia & Russia w/Oslo Roundtrip Copenhagen
  8. Gregg, Welcome to the group. I am looking forward to seeing you board and posting soon.

    Ron

  11. RMLLEL,

Welcome to the group. I hope that we get to hear about some of your cruises.

    Ron

  12. Kevin,

Welcome to the group. I would love to hear about your Greece/Italy cruise sometime. It is on my wish list.

    Ron

  13. Sara,

Welcome to the group. I hope that your first cruise got you hooked like the rest of us.

  14. Thank you for the comment. The great looking blonde on my arm is my wife of 38 years, Wendy. This photo was on our Sea Princess New England cruise and we were touring Corner Brook, Newfoundland. It is only a small island, used for refueling, but the few hours we had there were some of the best for the whole cruise.

  16. We had to skip this year (really feeling the pain of that one) but we are booked for a New York to Quebec (Crown Princess) in Oct, 2010.
  17. I appreciate all of the warm welcome. I will probably be a pain because I am totally addicted to cruises and enjoy nothing more then to be online with other cruisers.
