Details

  • Hobbies & Interests
    Travel, hunting, reading.
  • Music
Classic rock; almost anything except RAP
  • Movies
Mostly classic war or action movies. No chick flicks!
  • TV Shows
It's mostly a vast wasteland, but I occasionally watch: History, Military, Comedy, & Outdoor/Sportsmans' Channels, + PBS Documentaries. Anything but the stupid, inane reality shows. (Most of them start with the words "Biggest" or "America(n)"
  • Sports
    Arlington Cowboys & College football
  • Food
My bride's a gourmet cook - so anything she whips up is great! All those cooking classes continue to pay big dividends! (Susie & her girlfriends took cooking classes in a Tuscan villa back in '06.)
  • Pets
    dogs
  • Books
Mostly nonfiction, pertaining to area through which we're cruising, but occasionally something by Tom Clancy, or fellow Allegheny alum Dale Brown.<br>Recommend "Lone Survivor" by Marcus Luttrell - true story about fateful 2005 USN SEAL mission in Afghanistan. Powerful stuff!
  • Quotes
Don't fire till you see the whites of their eyes & Keep your powder dry!
  • Occupation
    Rovia Travel Guy
  1. Welcome aboard the CruiseCrazies ship!

  2. My wife Susie & I went truly cruise crazy in the last year, spending over 100 days at sea: Sydney to Auckland on HAL (Dec '08); around Cape Horn on NCL (Feb '09); Western Med on NCL (May '09); Alaska cruise tour on HAL (Aug '09); and our favorite 3X back-to-backers/8 weeks on Azamara Quest from Rome to Hong Kong (Nov '09 - Jan '10). I'm a retired USAF officer & the Quest cruise marked my first time back to Vietnam in 40 yrs!

  3. Welcome aboard!
