  1. Have to agree with BoatLover on two points...First, we love the Fantasy!! Second, I will be sailing on her for the third time this July. It's a smaller ship than the mega ones out there now, but I think that's why I like it so much. Plus they have recently done quite a bit of renovations to her. I have stayed in a Cat. 12 suite and last time in a Cat. 6C.....the suite was great, but IMHO I'd rather save the extra money and then not be so worried about my bar tab, especially when it's just a short 3 or 4 day cruise. I can't compare it to Disney since I've never sailed her, I can only guess that the decor might not be as impressive, but I don't think that will stop you from having a great time. When are you booked for Carnival Fantasy? We booked for July 15th (3 day to Nassau)
  2. Keith and Rita, Have a wonderful vacation, safe trip and don't forget the pictures!! Enjoy!!  Nora

  5. Thanks all! I'm excited and ready to go. I'm a bit nervous today because I'm leaving my son home and I'll pick up my mom soon to stay the weekend with him while we're gone (she doesn't drive). What makes me nervous is for the first time my son is driving himself to school today and tomorrow (in my new car I might add). He just left with a boat-load of instructions from me about where to park, make sure you lock the doors, no other kids allowed in the car...etc.....plus to make matters worse he has a cold and doesn't feel well....I am such a worrier about my kid!!..LOL...They're always your baby no matter how old they are, aren't they?!? Anyhow, in-laws will be over around 11 and we'll all head up to the port where we'll meet up with two others couples we're traveling with. I'll take lots of pictures and raise a frozen thingie to all my CruizeCrazy friends.....one for each member..lol...how many do we have now???....1,200??- Boy that's gonna be some bar tab..LOL Have a great weekend all, Nora
  6. I have always been told that Sovereign does NOT have any balconies! I see that a few sites say that she does, but I'm 99.9% sure she does not.
  7. Tamara I know exactly how you feel!!.....I do the very same thing myself, like you said, even though I'm an experienced traveler. We also leave for our cruise tomorrow and my clothes are also laid out on the bed...and I walk around ~in and out of the closet...around in circles it seems thinking of what to bring...LOL. Let us both take a deep breath and relax.. . I always envy my DH who can pack at a minutes notice....I stress about it for days before! For gosh sakes..I'm only going for 3 days..LOL....Tomorrow by this time we should both be raising a "frozen thingie" to our CruiseCrazy family!!! So what if we forget to pack underwear!!!!~~~We'll be on vacation..LOL   Have a great time Tamara!! Nora
  8. ...you don't have to worry about defrosting anything for dinner!
