It is our eight time with Cunard. We are Platinum status with them. We have done five trans atlantics on the old QE2, two on the QM2 and an 18 day cruise on The Coronia which they no longer have.

We are booked on 13 day Canada & Colonial America cruise on Crown Princess. Embarcation in Quebec City and disembarcation for us in Ft.Lauderdale. It is a repositioning cruise and caries on into the Carribean. It will be our first time on Princess. Most of our cruising has been on Cunard and Holland America. Anyone else on this cruise?

It is a repositioning cruise and carries on to the Carribean. We have never beenon Prinmcess before. Most of our cruises have been with Clunard or Holland America.

I think it depends on the cruise line. We have travelled a lot with cunard and Evening attire is a must. I wear beaded black dresses a lot. On other cruise line like HAL I have worn very dressy pants or pant suites.

We are booked on the 18 day portion of The Voyage of the Vikings July 22,2008 on HAL Maasdam. the embarcation is Rotterdam with disembarcation in Boston. Is anyone joining us?

We are booked on QM 2 New York to southampton July 8,2008. It will be our second time on QM2 and our seventh transatlantic crossing. Is anyone joining us.

Closer to the time I hope we can arrange to meet on board. We will also be meeting friends on board who live in Californai so things are very exciting indeed.

WE were on Norwegian jewel last Sept. We have sailed, Carnival,. RCCL, Cunard (another Cunard booked Sept 24/06) Holland America and Norwegian. We loved the Norwegian Jewel. It was two months old when we were on it. It held 2400 passengers . The cabins were nicely decorated, the food was good. I could go on and on. We felt it was wonderful value for the money. If you have any direct questions concerning it, i would be glad to answer them.

To Cruisinmama, Thank-you so very much for taking the time to post the review. I have read some reviews on another website but was happy to read your review. We are really looking forward to our time on the Jewel Two weeks today we will have sailed out of New York. The only other NCL ship we have been on was Norwegian Sea ansd I believe there will be big differences between it and Norwegian Jewel. Thanks again.

WE are booked on The Jewel in two weeks time Sept 18-29th New England Canada cruise. There are reviews on this ship on the website ######. They are well worth reading. I will endevour to post one on this webiste when we return.

Lisa, Having cruised Canada new Englsnd with you last year on Maasdam, I know you would have loved that itinery. Glad to hear everything went well. See you in a month in port.

Last year we took our first cruise on HAL on the Maasdam. It will not be our last. WE loved the old world character of the ship. The fresh flowers all around. The crowd was a little older but we felt we fit in very well. We are middle aged ourselves. The food was great the crew were couteous and helpful. we have sailed with Cunard, Nowegian, RCCL, Carnival. We will sail again with HAL. WE are presently booked on Norwegain Jewel in Sept. It is a brand new ship and we don;t know what to expect as we really like the old world charm. I don not believe we will find it on the Jewel but it will be an experience.

One of our favourite ships. We have done 5 transatlantics on QE2. Classicly wonderful. You will enjoy without a doubt.
