I guess I better drag Frank over to Jackson Hole to check out the best hotel pool! Probably will only be able to afford to just walk in the lobby - if we park somewhere else! Seriously, I am going to have to check that one out the next time I am over there. I get asked to go over and judge their rodeo queen pageant or put on a pageant clinic almost every year and they comp my room - but I don't think the place they have me stay even has a pool!

As a newbie to cruising I still tend to go straight to the staterooms first and then my favorites are the ship as a whole. I find the photo's of all of the bars the least interesting. But, that's probably because I never went to them!

I hope it's the same place too Skipper as I just rented a premium sized car pre and post cruise. Thrifty was about $10 under the other sites I tried. I can usually get a better deal on Priceline or Hotwire but they didn't list Cape Canaveral and so I didn't dare do it. Has anyone else rented through those sites for this same itinerary?

I think I will call Enterprise tomorrow. It seems like they want to charge more on the internet for different drop offs than when you just call direct.

We will be flying into Orlando and then staying at the Radisson at Port Canaveral. My idea is to just rent a car at the airport and then return it in Port Canaveral. Which rental agency is the cheapest, easiest, etc to do this with? And then post cruise we are staying in Orlando for a few days (our son-in-law has never been there) and I would like to rent a car at the Port and then return it to Airport. I prefer rental cars to shuttles, taxi's, etc. and find it less expensive to do this.

Sailingrose, It's so funny that you bring up the casino chips because that is exactly what I told my hubby. Of all of the things to get a virus from I think the chips, money, and his precious remote are the worst!

I find that it's too bad that we have to "justify" our decision to cruise with Carnaval! When I was choosing our cruise I knew we had to have a balcony, wanted specific ports of call, etc. and so I went with them. I just really bugs me when I tell people we are going on a cruise and the first thing they say is, "What line?" and then act like I have no clue by choosing Carnaval! After cruising with them we found that we fit right in! We aren't very stuffed shirt kind of people so the atmosphere was perfect for my old cowboy. He loved it and so unless we get a really good deal, we will stick with them and build up our past cruiser points!

After doing a ton of research before our first cruise I had decided that Carnival would suit us the best despite the "raised eyebrows" from friends when talking about it. I sure didn't regret our decision! We sailed on the Triumph and now have one booked on the Glory. I'm going for platinum!!!

Gosh, I feel so darn loved!!! We sailed on the Carnival Triumph to the eastern last May and will be on the Glory to the Western in June. My husband wants to go to Alaska but I keep telling him I see enough mountains, I want warm beaches!!!

Hey thank you! I'm excited to join your group! We went on our first cruise this past May and it was the best trip we have ever taken (and we have traveled quite a bit)! We went to the eastern Caribbean. We have another booked for next June to the western Caribbean and our daughter and her husband will also be going with us. So, with 156 days to go, I'm getting a little antzy!!! So, I'm depending on you guys to keep my mind occupied!
