HI Karen I would think being a teacher July and August may not be the best time to take a cruise, far too many children .....lol I have been told Hawaii has two seasons, winter and summer. The differences are the amount of rain and much less so the temperatures, especially from place to place. The average temperature year-round is 75º F Between the warmest weather in August and the coldest weather in January. The daytime temperature may vary 5 - 7º F. February is the most unpredictable month. The weather in the off-season travel period April through December and especially may actually be better than the weather during high-season. Winter runs from mid-October through April, daytime temperatures at sea level are in the mid-70s to low 80s. Nighttime temperatures run from the low 60s to the low 70s.
