  1. Cheryl, treatment for ruptured aortic aneurysms has come a long long way in 30 years. My father was diagnosed with a dissecting aortic aneurysm that ruptured back in 1977. The surgery they did on him made medical history, cooling his body to 60 degrees and draining all his blood then replacing the ruptured part of the aorta with a Dacron graft. Essentially he was dead on the table for over half an hour while they did the graft. At the time his chance for survival was less than 5%. Not only did he survive this surgery but his recovery time amazed his doctors. He was back to work full-time in less than 3 months. He had 2 subsequent dissecting aneurysms and surgery and passed away in 1979 after complications from a final surgery. These procedures were so new and miraculous that it was front page news here in the DC area and made many newspapers worldwide, even local TV and Good Morning America. I think this procedure they used on my father way back when is now standard practice.
  2. Morning Locos. I am off to work. Yes on a Saturday. I have to work a few to build up extra time off Linda, we must be related my pirate name is Iron Mary Kidd and Rex is Calico Sam Kidd. Funny how that turned out Rex and I still having the same surname. My son Mike did it also and he is Madd Tom Rackham We would love to do Vegas, late April would be best for us too. My son has stayed at Fitzgerald's with his Grandma (she gets comps) The last two time we went we stayed at Fairfield Grand Desert Resort (timeshare) off the strip about a block. The house idea is good especially to save $$ Just a thought. Hey Chuck or Lisa can you find some CHEAP airfare when we get this finalized?
  3. Thanx Joey! I gotta tell you the web page looks great
  4. Cheryl... We'll be good neighbors too Now all we need is to get the other cabins booked with our group
  5. Just checking in to say HI. I haven't been on the puter much lately. Just don't seem to have enough time. It looks like our little group is getting bigger and bigger. Smoo, don't worry too much about the AFT cabin. You will have a great time no matter where you are on the ship. Rex and I really like the AFT balcony but are always happy in any balcony just to be on the ship.
