JURY DUTY- SLIP AND FALL CASE ON CRUISESHIP
LynnS13 replied to Gymbrat333's topic in Let's Talk Cruise!
They want people on a jury that have no "preconceived knowledge" for the most part so then the attorneys can try to "brainwash and mold them" to side with whomever side they are fighting for...I am a Certified Addictions counselor and they NEVER want me on any cases involving drugs or alcohol, which unfortunately is ALOT of cases!! Lynn -

Option #3 - Canada/New England Crazies Group Cruise
LynnS13 replied to cruisetarp's topic in Let's Talk Cruise!
Sounds great Marylou@ I will keep checking back and perhaps my husband and I can do this cruise! Lynn -
My girlfriend lives in Anchorage Alaska and told me I need to book an Alaskan cruise....it looks beautiful and I know a few that have been and say it is AWESOME. My hesitation is that I LOVE warmth and tropical weather and am just unsure if I would be disappointed or not....any thoughts to this? Thanks, Lynn

Option #3 - Canada/New England Crazies Group Cruise
LynnS13 replied to cruisetarp's topic in Let's Talk Cruise!
New England Cruise sounds really nice.....Is it open to anyone on here that wants to go or just a certain group of people that cruise together? Is there a discount when you book as a group versus just booking anf going yourself? Lynn -
Thanks all for your responses!! Marylou- we live in Stroudsburg...not far from u..just right up 33! We are taking limo service to the pier, so we do not have to worry about the actual drive and how to get there...lol. I did hear that the Ice show is a MUST, so we shall make sure to hit that...Joe, you asked about interests...I love to shop...hahaha. We plan to take the air tram in St Thomas and I love to walk around San Juan. I think its going to be a low key vacation. We are taking the kids and they have never cruised before, so it will be fun just seeing them enjoy themselves! Do any of you know if they have sushi on the Explorer>? This is one question that I haven't had answered yet. Again, thanks a bunch... Lynn

Hi Joe! Wow, very helpful! We live in PA, so it's only like 1.5 hours away for us. I have gone out of NY and liked that, but by going out of Bayonne, it's even more convienent. I don't know...someone was complaining on the boards about a tent, so I was like what??? LOL. Never sailed Royal before, so I am hoping for a good experience. We are staying in the Royal Family Suite on the Aft of the ship. Have u gone on Royal? What was your experience? Thanks again for replying.... Lynn

I am sailing on the Explorer March 19-28 out of Cape Liberty for 9 day Eastern Caribbean. U r going out of Ct? And where r u going? Hope u have a great time! This is a first for the Explorer for us. We are doing Royal Family Suite....any suggestions or tips u care to share? Happy cruising....Lynn

Thanks MaryLou... You have now set me straight...lol....ur post was VERY helpful and I appreciate it! I have posted in the meeting hall, however it looks like noone else is going and we are gonna have the ship to ourselves... I was hoping I would run into someone on here who has recently went on teh Explorer. Most reviews are at least a coupe of years old I will have to be sure to do a review on it when I get back so there is a more updated one . Thanks again for your reply! Lynn

Hi All, I will be sailing the Explorer of the Seas out of Cape Liberty, Bayonne NU March 19-28, 2010. I have not found any recent reviews or info on this ship....can anyone help? Also I had another posting abut the pier @ Cape Liberty because I heard it is congested and there are long waits to drop off point and that the terminal is an open tent?? We are in the Royal Family Suite and was wondering if they had a room to wait for those in suites? Any help would be greatly appreciated Lynn

Hi All, Was wondering if any of you have cruised out of Cape Liberty? I am hearing conflicting things and just wondered if some of you might not clear things up for me.....I hear that it takes awhile to get into the drop off place due to traffic issues...also, I heard that it is mostly outside and you wait under a tent? LOL...we are sailing in the Royal Family Suite...is there an inside place to wait until its time to board? Thanks for your help. I am fairly new to these boards, however I am getting hooked...lol...LOTS of information and kind folks! Thanks again, Lynn

Recipes from the Carnival Kitchens!
LynnS13 replied to StanfordsGirl's topic in Carnival Cruise Line
I sailed on Carnival a couple of years back....each night I told myself that I was going to try a different dessert....and EVERY night of my 8-day cruise I got to the point of ordering my dessert and...Chocolate Molten cake AGAIN...hahaha....It was too funny when on the last night our waiter came over with what would be my "last chocolate Molten Cake" and handed me a piece of paper.....what else? A copy of the recipe!!! Only down side...all the ingredient amounts were in metric! Did get it translated though. Lynn
