  1. I have been on Caribbean Princess and it was a beautiful ship-we had a great time-we did the western Caribbean though. I prefer to have more days at port then at sea with a more exotic itinerary so the eastern caribbean was at the bottom of my list. This is why I chose the Crown Princess. I am sailing on Crown in December on the southern Caribbean itinerary and can't wait!!
  2. I am going here in December and signed up for the dolphin experience - has anyone done this?? I am pretty excited!
  3. Wow! Everyone's so nice here! Thanks so much
  4. haha! I didn't realize that the question was not the first page one! Still new here! Sorry for the last post
  5. We are pretty new to cruising. Our first cruise was 10-7-2006 on Caribbean Princess to the Western Caribbean. We were skeptical at first but are hooked for life now!

Description<] :: Western Caribbean Since this was my first cruise, I was very skeptical of the whole "cruise vacation". I thought that a boat couldn't be too much fun and the food couldn't be that good - but WAS I WRONG! I had so much fun on this cruise that I will probably not go on another vacation that is not a cruise. The ship was beautiful. The boarding process was extremely easy, although it took a little while. After walking into the ship, my husband and I were overwhelmed at how amazing and HUGE this ship was. We had an oceanview room with partially obstructed view, which really wasn't that bad since we could still see out, and didn't spend all that much time in the room. Our room was much larger then I expected, and very nice! The bed was comfortable, there was tons of closet room, and it was spotless every day. Our room stewart was so friendly and always greeted us by name! We went to the shows every night and ate at all the venues. There was so much to do everyday. The ports were also a lot of fun, especially the canopy tour in Jamaica. I HIGHLY recommend this excursion. We also did the semi-sub in Grand Cayman and the Ruins in Cozumel (also a very good tour). Lots of good shopping in Grand Cayman! Could have spent all day doing that! Princess Cays was a good relaxing stop. I basically sunbathed and snorkeled all day. It was great! The food on the ship was so much better then I thought it would be, as well as the drinks. We had anytime dining which was great because we could go eat whenever we wanted. The food was great every day that we went here. We also ate at the buffet which had so much variety that we tended to overeat everytime we ate there! All of the crew members were so nice and if we had any problems, they were right there to help. One of the members would even come over to us every night at the theatre and knew exactly what drinks we wanted to order! What amazing personal service! We will definetly cruise with Princess from now on! The serivce, food, entertainment, rooms, and everything else were far beyond what we expected! View Review

  9. I went to Nassau last year on vacation (stayed in Cable Beach) and did not feel unsafe in most areas. I went to the pirates of Nassau and it was fun, just don't eat at the bar at the pirates place - the food is awful. The straw market is fun, as well as paradise island - I highly recommend that you go there! There is also quite a bit of good shopping right near the docks. If you need to get around, the mini buses are great and only $1!!! I am not sure what shore excursions there are (as I have never cruised there), but we went on the Robinson Crusoe "cruise" out to an island for lunch/snorkeling and it was a ton of fun! The beach was beautiful. If you are going to a beach near nassau, the beaches on paradise island are definetly the best. There is so much to do, I think you will have a great time whatever you choose!
  10. I like to wear a nice mid-length cocktail dress - most likely black with some nice jewelry. A low heel is good with these, although I prefer about 2.5 - 3 inch heels... There are some very nice fancy flats out this year though!
