Dining on the Fantasy

I was wondering is it mandatory that you dress up for dinner?? Just curious, dont know the rules, first time for Carnival. Is the room service menu decent enough to just order dinner through there? What is on the regular dinner menus or lunch for that matter, that is not to be missed? Can anyone tell me about the Guaranteed Ocean View Rooms, did anyone ever get a nice upgrade, or do you wind up at the bottom of the boat, in the noisest room....... thanks for your help!

On Carnival most nights are casual nights where you can wear most things excepts shorts, t-shirts and swim suits. Some people argue whether you can wear jeans. On formal nights they do expect you to dress up some. Men with suits or tux. dark suit prefered but you won't get kicked out with a different color suit. Women a nice dress or formal dress is prefered.

The normal room service menu is mainly sandwhiches and salads things like that. During dinner many times they would allow you to order from dining room menu for room service I am not sure if that is the case on the Fantasy.

As far as a guaranteed ocean view room goes you will end up in at least the class room you booked or higher. In otherwords if you want an ocean view room higher up on the ship book in the middle or higher classes of the ocean view rooms not at the bottom of the ocean view class rooms.
