COMPLETE REVIEW

Vista is a beautiful ship with many activities both physical and quiet fun. The SkyRide and Ropes course are fun! The IMAX theater is a great addition as well as the Thrill Theater!! The upper deck (11) overlooking the aft pool is very relaxing! This was another spur of the moment cruise and my 2nd on her. My first cruise on her I didn't think I was going to be happy with the 3 story atrium (accustomed to the 7-9 story atriums on CCL) but WOW!!! that globe is INCREDIBLE!!!! I highly recommend her or Horizon (same deck plan and amenities).

I find it a bit disconcerting that NO one has reviewed and/or cruised on these incredible ships for years. just WOW!

Thanks so much for reviewing the Carnival Vista and the other Carnival ships, as well. A lot of people here cruise the ships you mention - they just haven't posted up a review. Hopefully, that will change with the new year!?

I can see that you love Carnival. I've only sailed one Carnival ship - the Imagination - back in 2003. There are have been a few new ships and lots of refits since, so I guess it's time to come back and give Carnival another shot!

Not just Carnival, but Norwegian and RCCL has relegated their older, smaller ships to the weekend quickie cruises. It’s too bad because I have a fondness for some of the older, smaller ships. Nowadays if you want to cruise on a small ship on a longer itinerary, you may have to look at the premium lines.
