The Disney Magic Western Caribbean Cruise was great!

My husband, daughter and I stayed overnight at the Raddison the day before departure, and we were shuttled right to the Port. When we arrived, Porters were ready to take our luggage. We just kept our carryons and went right in to check in. When we got to the top of the escalators, we were greeted by two Castmembers with huge Mickey hands. They pointed us to the correct area to check in and to my surprise there was no line. I went right up to a window and checked the three of us in very quickly. We were given Boarding Pass 12. We waited only a short time for #12 to be called and, after taking pictures, we boarded the ship. It's really nice that they announce your arrival using your family name.

Once on board, we went to the buffet for lunch. After lunch, we were able to get to our cabin, and our luggage was already there. Our cabin was great. We had booked a Cat 9 (Ocean View) but right before the cruise, were told we were upgraded to a Cat 6 (w/Verandah). This cabin was great. Now I'm spoiled and would not want to cruise without a verandah. The room was big enough for the three of us, with a king bed for hubby and me, and a twin sofa bed for 18 yr old daughter. We also had a split bath which was nice. We then went to Deck 9 for the Sail Away Party. It was great!!

The entire Disney cruise was really great. I love the rotation dining, although we didn't go to the Formal Night. The room service is really good. I loved ordering coffee and doughnuts to arrive in the morning as a wake up call.

We enjoyed our Ports on the 7 night Western itenerary: Key West was great! We rented an electric car and drove all over the island; Grand Cayman--we took one of the tours which we really enjoyed and our guide was very informative and answered any questions any of us asked; Cozumel--we booked the Beach Excursion which we enjoyed. And then there is Castaway Cay--what a beautiful place. We really enjoyed the beach. My husband went snorkeling and my daughter and I floated around in tubes. The barbeque lunch was really good.

Be sure not to miss the Disney shows everyday. They were really great.

Can't wait until we can cruise Disney again. We want to try the Disney Wonder 4 day.
