COMPLETE REVIEW

This was my wifes and my 9th Princess cruise and our second on the Regal. Our first was to Alaska 2 years ago. (This was the Regals last Hawaiian round-trip and next to last cruise as a Princess ship.) We are both college professors. I am also a retired IRS-CID Special Agent. We live in the Chicago area and flew to Los Angeles three early inorder to tour the city.

We stayed at Marriot LAX thru Princess and then used a Princess transfer to the ship. The embarkation went very quickly and smoothly. We were in our stateroom A189 within 1/2 hour. Our luggage arrived before dinner. We ate at the 1st seating. Our four days at sea were fantactic. We met "Hawaii Bob" Basso, the Hawaii Specialist, what a charater.

Our 1st stop was Maui. We took the Haleakala Volcano tour. It as excellent. Next stop was Kauai. We took the Waimea Canyon tour. Breath-taking! Then on to Oahu, where we toured the USS Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri. In one day I saw where the United States entered and ended WW II. Next came Kona, where we did the cloud forest tour. Our last Hawaii stop was Hilo. We visited the Kilauea Volcano. After that we has four more glorious day at sea. One for which was our wedding anniversary. Princess had ballons at our stateroom entrance and a cake at our dinner.

We made a three hour "service call" at Ensenada, Mexico. We got off the ship, walked around the pier and got back on the ship. The next moring we were back in LA and Flew home. The disembarkation went smoothly.

We will miss the Regal Princess. It was a wonderful ship
