Welcome to CruiseCrazies, Tate. I'm not going on that cruise but we've sailed on the Enchantment many times and it is one of our two favorite ships . Until the Liberty of the Seas came along, the Enchantment was the only ship we booked. Of course, we are kind of limited since we only sail out of Miami or Ft. Lauderdale. But, we have sailed many Carnival ships and three different RC ships and we loved the Enchantment. If she ever sails out of our ports again, we will definitely be booking her. Enjoy your cruise. Wow, I am so impressed that you made so many good, healthy choices. Your willpower is amazing- just to be able to eat a bit of the the regular dessert and not finish it off or go back for more. Your writing is great. Looking forward to part 2. Keep up the good work! I need to learn from you- everytime we go on a four day cruise, I come back 6 pounds heavier, though I do realize that a bit of that is fluid retention from all the salt.

Ah. Sailed the Destiny several times and loved it , especially the Deli. Why do I always associate every ship with the food I remember eating on her? Gotta stop focusing on the food, right?

Wow, I love that idea. Being from N.Y. originally, the pushcarts were a staple. Somehow the hotdogs always tasted better from the pushcarts than anyplace else, especially with the steam coming out of the sauerkraut in the winter.

Jan, congratulations on your booking. Sounds great. cruisey, everyone I know of that's cruised with Princess has loved it. If you want , you can go ahead and read some of the reviews posted on this site. Great to see you posting here.

Thanks for responding, Keith and Rita. We have to decide whether or not we want to give it a try or stick with RC's great wrap around decks , which we love for doing a great deal of walking.

How late is the buffet open and can you eat all your meals at the buffet instead of dining room? Also, is there a deck, like on the Royal Carib. ships, where you can walk around the perimeter of the ship without going up to the sports deck? Thanks for any response you can offer.
